A couple of random thoughts I wrote down a few days ago:

I've seen a couple of shows where they talk about that missing pregnant woman, Laci Peterson.

On one of them I heard an interesting statistic.

When someone is killed randomly, the average time they find the body in is 72 hours.

Why is it that when it's someone they know that kills them it takes forever to find them?

A lot of times random killings are done by seasoned criminals.

Maybe it's the whole "i want to get caught" thing, that serial killers are sometimes known for.

And I guess when your husband kills you, he has so much emotion, and guilt behind it, that he doesn't want to get caught, or he doesn't want to believe it, so he just hides it as much as he can, so he can sort of hide it from himself, too.

So he can hide the memory.

Maybe it makes them forget they did it altogether.

I don't know if Scott Peterson did it or not, because I don't know what motive he had.

Just because he had an affair doesn't mean that he wanted to kill his wife.

But maybe she was going to leave him or something, and he couldn't handle it.

All I know is it doesn't look good for him.

The statistics show that he may very well be the one that did it, because it doesn't point to the historical record of random killings.

It's just strange because he acts so calmly.

It's eerie.

It reminds me of something that somebody said in a movie. I forget which one. It may have been one of my favorites Glengarry Glen Ross. Somebody was feeling nervous, and another character was consoling him.

"I'm nervous..."

"Of course you're nervous. You're supposed to be nervous. You know who doesn't act nervous? Guilty people."

Anyway...it just sucks, because she's supposed to give birth within the next couple weeks, and she's probably dead.

On a completely different, and lighter note....

Everytime I'm watching Joe Millionare and he mentions his salary I'm taken aback.

He's a construction worker, and he says he only makes $19,000 a year.

I've always heard that as far as regular jobs go, construction workers make a shitload of money.

He must be a construction worker in Alaska or something.

He should move to Las Vegas.

Or marry a millionare.
