The depths of my soul

reside on a grassy knoll

when you find that perfect someone, you realize how fucked up a lot of your friends always were

when you think of how many people have judged you

you can finally trade them in for the one person who truly loves you

it's so funny how those that judge you are the most insecure

and it's these same idiots who do things that are so impure

i'm not talking about what's a sin or what's criminal

i'm talking about making the people you "love" feel miserable

leave us alone, until you find love yourself

because it's a cop out to be selfish like everyone else

stop thinking of yourself when you give advice

because when you need some, we don't ever think twice

when i say "we", i mean those who care

soon the sensible people will rule, so beware

it won't be okay to torture your kids

and try to make them do things the way you did

if you were such a success, why did you turn out so angry?

if life really sucks eggs, why don't you throw some at your vanity

why don't you tell us what you really think

you hate yourself, so you pretend that we stink

we've figured it out better then you ever will

i didn't need to a PHD to find out that most people are ill

i didn't need to go to college to find out how people live

most of them are so afraid to take shit, so that's all they give

they make us feel guilty for living our own lives

and when they talk to you, they can't even look into your eyes

so the next time someone looks away from you
