Some song I wrote in Oregon about 3 years ago. I think I like it. I think I like it because it's weird. I think only part of it is weird though. Some of it makes absolute sense. Well, most of it does to me, but it may make no sense to you. But anyway, here's the fricking song.

Children of a lesser evil have bad hygiene

and unmanageable hair- low maintenance like myself

when you meet someone this will change

No matter how non-conformist you are, your life gets rearranged

Why do we do this?

Is it that they bring out the best in you or the worst?

Is it a curse?

Why do we do it?

The ones who behave like this daily are truly sick

And their lies will be exposed, tick by tick

It takes a lot more strength to frown

Unless your smiles are fake, and you're always looking down

So when we act like them, who's the fool?

Everyone smokes cigarettes because it looks cool

Even my ex-girlfriend said I do

Who am I to judge her point of view?

I'm pretty sure I was me the whole time

I just did things a little differently from time to time

She dated me for the person I was when we met

But I was an asshole when we started getting involved

When we actually met I was trying to get laid

even thought I knew I probably wouldn't

When we kissed I only saw it in the back of my mind

But I was nice again after that (to her)

I was probably an ass to everybody else

but at least I was happy

Too bad she always wasn't

She loved me but not at the same pace

It took her months to appreciate me as much as it took me to in one hour with her

At the end she was still a year behind

And we weren't even together a year

that's how much I loved

Only a year after we broke up, were we actually equal in our appreciation

although mine was just leftover

And she didn't do anything with hers

I used mine all I could, to try and save the most precious thing I had at that time

I stil hold her up to a pedestal

She holds me responsible for one or two bad things as opposed to her fully stocked warehouse of pity and denial
