2002-07-17 | Jamie was on the swim team. What a jack-ass!

Something triggered my memory the other day for some reason, and it brought me back to my teenage years.

I always try and act cool, but I'm a super dorky whimpy nice guy, deep down, I guess. (But I DO hate Dash-bored, Ryan!!! Mark my words!)

We were such geeks. Jamie, Bryan and I used to have these sleep overs, (we'd say slumber parties, but men have to be all macho and stuff) and we'd stay up late and eat pizza or hot dogs, and watch Saturday Night Live kind of like they did on FREAKS AND GEEKS. (We weren't that geeky, but we were freakazoids.)

I remember one time we had a birthday party sleepover thing at Jamies house, and his cousin Ryan had a bad hot dog and had to get his stomach pumped. It was really bad.

Jamies family is pretty cool. Nice people. Jamie used to be cool, but he's all cocky now and stuff. He changed so much. He's one of those people who are always worried about their reputation. The problem with him, is he never really had one. I find him to be quite a boring dude, but something keeps telling me I should try and contact him and see if he hates me.

The last time I hung out with Jamie on a regular basis, his sisters were like 11, and 13 or something. I saw them on New Years Day 2001, and they were incredibly hot now. I felt kind of weird thinking they were hot now, but I think one of them was in college already, so it wasn't that bad. It was cool though, because they were kind of checking me out. (that kind of thing doesn't happen to me that much)

One thing I always will remember about Jamies house is that his Mom always had the freezer in the garage stocked with Otter Pops.

I still see Bryan occasionally. He's a "unique" person. I've never met someone so nerdy who was that good at basketball. He could've played Division I basketball somewhere, but he looked kind of like Paul from the Wonder Years. That was when he had glasses, though. He looks okay, now.

I remember when we were in third grade, I accidentally hit Bryan in the head with a rock, more like a pebble, and it must've hit him square, because he bled profusely, and I got suspended for like a week. Bryan forgave me almost immediately, but all his friends, which in elementary school is like everybody, wanted to kill me. It was like a movie. Everything was slow motion, and kids were walking by me going "How could you", and stuff like that.

Anyway, I've got to check out on the fellas and see where we stand. I've been kind of a lame friend at times, too. Hiding and pretending I'm not home when they come to hang out. Just LITTLE things like that.

But, anyway.
