Damn, I wish I was a bigger Red Sox fan, because even as a moderate one I felt so much joy tonight.

I also wish I had a sports talk radio show, so I could've told everybody that I had a gut feeling that the Red Sox would win the series easily, and quite possibly sweep it, which they did.

But it doesn't matter. What matters is that they won. I hope Mr. Bill Buckner can sleep a little easier tonight and from now on.

Even the losers get lucky sometimes.

The curse is over.

The Cubs have some hope now. Here's to a good nights sleep a year from now, Steve Bartman.

Manny Ramirez is the MVP, and he's going to diz knee whirl. Pedro has always been a favorite of mine. I wonder if he, Manny and Damon will get haircuts now.

What position did Jimmy Fallon play for the Red Sox this year? He sure looked happy while celebrating on the field after the game. How did he get there? He saw more field time than Pokey Reese. That ain't right.

As stupid as it sounds, I'm happy for Ben Affleck, because he was the most recognizable face of the eternally pained Red Sox fan. Congratulations to all the real Red Sox fans. THE REAL ONES. Now you may all shut up.
