2004-05-18 | BOWLING FOR LOUIE

Yo yo yo. Ariba la raza, or something.

Sorry I haven't been writing much lately. I promise I'll start writing more regularly again very soon.

Anyway, I want you to know that it really warms my heart when a celebrity is nice. The robust comedian Louie Anderson was staying at the hotel I work at over the weekend, and when I answered his call one night, he was very nice to me. He didn't really order that much food. He wanted some chicken and vegetable soup with hardly any chicken, mostly vegetables. He did want lots of bread and butter, which was refreshing, because I'm tired of motherfuckers asking for "no bread, because I'm on the Atkins diet." Actually, I've been tired of this Atkins bullshit for months, so I was pleased with his request for buttloads of brizzead. Maybe he's on the Fatkins diet. (I kid because I'm a big fella too)

I've been bowling pretty much every Monday for the last few months with some guys from work. It's really fun. I love it. I'm getting pretty good, too. I sucked tonight, but last week I had a 189 and a 193.

It's fun to come home and have reruns of Let's Bowl, Comedy Central's defunct series, showing after performing some actual bowling. It's fun when you had higher scores than the losers on the show, too.

I was pleasantly surprised to recently discover that there will soon be new episodes of Reno 911 airing. I thought this show was over. Can't wait to see the new ones.

I must apologize to Mr. Chapelle. I hated his show the first few times I saw it, but I was mistaken. It's a good show. It still annoys the shit out of me from time to time, but overall, it's pretty decent shit.

Another new favorite is Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. I watch it pretty much every night now. I wish they would make it an hour, and/or extend the press conference bit at the end of each show.

Well, I hope someone was still around to read this, since I've been slacking lately. If you were, I hope it didn't suck. Take care and I'll write to you soon.
