We had two clocks in our department at work, but one of them broke, so on one wall stands only a nail, where the one clock used to hang. Everyday somebody says "where's that clock? I keep looking for it." These same servers who are obsessed with going home as early as possible every day are now obsessed with the clock not being there, which is ridiculous. Don't they know if they just do their work, and ignore the time, it will go by faster? People love to find reasons to complain. They replace the old complaints with new ones. It's an annoying circle. "Isn't the time just dragging tonight?" No it isn't. It's actually travelling at the same speed it does every night. But why are you worried about time anyway? The only time I care about...time...are those....times when something is coming on tv at a certain....time, so you want to get home by the.....time it comes on. Hey...another thing they complain about. "That used to be my favorite tv show, but now I always miss it because I'm at work." It's only been possible to program shows on your VCR for like what...20 years now? People are always complaining about not having enough time. Even for simple things, like making a phone call. Me? I'm honest. When I don't do those things, I just say it's because I'm lazy. I could've made the time, but I was weak. I'd rather watch that tv show. The one I recorded while I was at work.
