2003-04-22 | REVOLUTION ON ICE

The other day at the hotel I work at, there was some cross country fancy car race thingy that stopped off here in Tucson, and all the participants stayed there. It was called the Gumball 3000 or something like that.

All these cool people were involved, but of course I didn't find out until 7 am of the morning they left, and if I had run into them I technically wouldn't be able to do anything anyway. We're not supposed to treat them like celebrities or ask for autographs or anything......

So somebody mentioned that Tony Hawk was there. Somebody I've always wanted to meet. He wasn't in the system, but I started thinking of other names, and started typing them into the computer. I heard some of the Jackass gang was there, but I couldn't confirm or deny that through the comp. But I did find two others that I admire.

Matt Hoffman and Bucky Lasek. But all for naught. I neither met them or saw them. Boo fucking hoo.

Hey MEG. Guess what? John from Q And Not U contributed to my book. I've been pretty lucky with contributions lately.

If any of you who read the diary want to keep tabs on the contributors to my future book, then you can keep clicking the "contributors" link above, every now and then. I update it everytime I get a new one. Then you can click their names, which will take you to their websites, and you can learn about them if you don't know who they are.

Thank you.

I also get bored now and then and make banners and put them on my "Banners&Links" link above, so if you would want me to make you one just for fun, then let me know.

Thank you.
