I think my mom may have found a man. (dad died 4 years ago)

I hope she does.

I think it would make her a more complete person.

A lot of her has been missing for the last few years.

She's a different person in a lot of ways.

She's been getting slightly better, lately, though.

She must feel like something is about to happen.

She went out with one the other night, and she really liked him. Even though he's like 50 and wore a baseball hat all night. Even though he speaks heavy "pidgin". (Hawaiian ebonics a.k.a. "eh brah"nics)

She even got a goodnight kiss.

Only problem......

His name is "BUTCH" or "BUTCHY".

I've always preferred Sundance, or "Dancy" for short.

I would name my kid "the Sundance kid".

Then black people would greet him with "what's up, 'kid'?"...and it would make him sound cooler.

I wonder if Redford would be a cool name.

Redford Johnson.

Redford Medina.

Redford Merriweather.

Redford Robertson.

Redford Jackson.

Redford Wallace.

Redford Kinder.

Redford Hubert.

Marcellus Redford McDyess.

Redford Thomas Anderson.

Hmmmm....not the best name to use..but it works on some levels.

Did he get his stage name from an actual Red Ford? That's pretty sad if that's the best they could come up with.
