Something I wrote long time ago, that I posted little by little on earlier entries. This is the last part I wrote. I was supposed to keep going with it, but luckily things got better, and I got happier, and of course my material got less creative. But here's the rest of my story (for now):

I just had a random memory of something that I read in a magazine a few years back....

It can piss you off if you let it, but it's so ridiculous, that it makes you laugh when you think about it.

One of the writers for Spin magazine wrote an article many years ago, after the Offspring signed their huge major label deal.

In the article he said that Dexter Holland was ten times the songwriter Kurt Cobain was.

That's like saying Dexter Freebish should've been the next Nirvana.

Didn't this guy realize the profound effect one has to have on a group of people, to be honored with a vigil the size of Cobains Seattle one, upon their death?

No offense, but could you imagine having a vigil like that if somebody like Dexter Holland killed himself?

Or the Creed vigil?

I mean these people should be commended for being too well adjusted, or too confident, or too stubborn to be capable of suicide, but how much of a mark have they left on the planet?

We've all changed some lives, just by loving someone, or being there for someone, but to be remembered like Kurt Cobain, you've really had to have done something special, such as writing a song (or ten) that will be loved and remembered for generations.

Sure, it's not important in the grand scheme of things, but it is extremely profound in it's own little(-big) way.

........I would probably watch more television to pass the time, but for some reason, the guy I'm staying with is missing half of the basic channels.

And to get the networks, NBC, ABC, etc., I have to do a sort of MacGyver cable wire balancing act.

When I do watch the television, I get by on those sleazy dating shows, the Game Show Network (used to be the Food network, too, but he's missing that one, too) and late night talk shows.

I think I'm actually missing more shows then I'm catching right now, as far as shows I would normally watch if I had all the channels.

It hasn't been this way in years.

It's a bummer.

The last time I had all the channels at my discretion, was ironically when she was in town.

And at that time, of course, I was occupied with her.

I could've watched a Police Academy marathon the whole weekend and been happy.

Well...okay, I could do that at any time, but that's beside the point.

I didn't feel like I was missing any shows when she was around.

I never do when she's around.

It's always way more then I expect.

She's given me so much.

I know, I know....you still want to know who she is.....

Dare I start the amazing story of how it all started?
