why do so many people hate Dave Grohl?

I don't know if Grohl-hating is running as rampant as it used to, but I don't get it. Sure he's annoying some times, but when you're in the public eye that much, you're bound to say something stupid now and then, or look stupid, or write a song that not everyone will like now and then, but give him a break.

This isn't really coming from everywhere. I'm just leading up to something.

Even if you don't like Grohl, can you deny the simple beauty and brilliance of Everlong, no matter how overplayed?

When you don't have love it makes you long for it.

When you're in love, it makes you feel fortunate.

When you've lost a love, it makes you fight for a new one.

Sometimes that's all you need for a good tune.

And it's one of the best videos of all time. I actually like it better because the video was so great.
