don't get me wrong. I'm not even a big fan of GN'F'R. I love alot of their songs and stuff, but I'm not like one of their biggest fans or anything. But I've been hearing a lot of people talk smack about Axl's performance at the VMA's. I can see how on the surface you can say he sucked, and that he couldn't sing after 2 minutes of running around, but I think you are all in for a rude awakening when Guns N' Roses "really" comes back. That was their first performance, not to mention with an all new band, in years. You don't think Axl is going to be ready for world domination once the album comes out and they start touring? As far as the way he looks, you can say what you will, but the way he spoke was totally coherent, which is a lot to say. Remember the old days? He seemed to be actually kind of nice, too when he was talking to Kurt "Scroder". Even though his singing was horrible, he got me super excited. I was totally pumped. I heard two stupid girls on the college station commenting about what "happened" to him, and I thought it was kind of premature. Give them a chance to come back officially. The album hasn't even "dropped" yet. I learned "dropped" from Conan O'Brien. (wink) Just beware. You may be right. He may never do anything again. But if he does, don't be surprised. Get ready for the reign. And the future tour. Tenacious D. with Guns N' Roses and Queens of the Stone Age. I hope Axl doesn't come back as a prima donna asshole again. I want him to become friends with cool people, so I don't feel so guilty for kinda liking them. I don't care. Make fun of me. Does anybody know if Tommy Stinson is still in the band? If he is, i'm looking forward to the return even more. "Don't say I didn't warn you"
