2002-05-16 | TONY ROBBINS...31 FLAVORS OF CHEESE

Okay, okay.... I feel pretty good. I feel loved. If it wasn't for my internet posse, I don't know what I'd do. I hope they know how much I appreciate them, too.

I did okay at home base, too. I went out with a couple people after work, because one of our co-workers in hell, is moving to Washington. And guess what? It went okay. People laughed at my jokes, for the most part, and listened to my point of views. Often, talk about work, right after leaving it, can be boring, frustrating, or irritating, or just plain infuriating, but this work talk was fun. It was like all the people that knew exactly what I've been going through were there tonight. There wasn't too much blowing me off, which happens more then I care to remember.

I thought I'd only stay for like 30 minutes, but I ended staying for about 3 hours. It was fun.

But now I have one more difficult work day before the beloved weekend.

I have a stack of papers and a bunch of pallets to put together, and ship out-one third of it by 9 am, and the rest, preferrably by 2:30, then it's smooth sailing from then on.

I get to deliver the stuff that I put together during the week, to the ports that ship to the neighbor islands. I'm like the shipping master, and that job can be strenuous, and stressful at times, but the delivering of it is great. I just drive the company flat bed to the docks and wait in line for hours at a time.

For most people, this would sound like not much fun, but it's a nice time for me to wind down from all the weeks hoopla, and just think about fun stuff, or ponder my future, or just totally forget everything that had been bothering me that week. I also receive the feed from the college radio station perfectly in that flat bed, at that location, and if I'm there at the right time, I am treated to an amazing mix of great underground music, as well as some cheesy classic rock thrown in to the mix. And did I mention that the truck has ice cold air conditioning, which is essential during the next few months which will be miserably hot and humid? So, it's just a nice way to end a hectic week. Well, a harder week, like this one was. Some weeks are a breeze. There's certain weeks where I barely break a sweat, but this week, sadly, was not one of them.

But then, on top of all the ok stuff that went on today, I came home to a girlfriend that loved me, albeit on the phone, from arizona, and then I came on-line to find some wonderful messages from my wacky cohorts. Aw shucks... I love y'all!
