2002-03-18 | MY VISION IS PINK

My friends David, Phil, and I were supposed to start this band about 3 years back. We were trying to think of a title for the band. I always thought of cool interesting ones, or at least funny ones. But Dave was always stuck on this one title. He wanted to call the band 'BLEND' because our music would be a blend of all these different musical styles. I kinda hated that name from the beginning. But I told him I would look through a dictionary and a thesauras and try to find some words that kind of described blending in a more interesting way. So I started writing down these words. I made a list. I guess I got bored one night and started writing stuff next to the words, and it kind of turned into a song or something. Anyway, this is a way too long story for a way too unprolific song. But here goes, anyway. The capitalized words are the ones that correspond with "Blend", of course.
