that used to be the story of my life

so the thing that made me think of that line tonight, was I was watching the end of Lucas. I was one of those people who missed Lucas the first time around, somehow, and didn't see it 'til maybe 3 years ago. I remember being like Lucas for most of my life. Liking girls who just wanted to be my friend. The description of the movie on the digital cable guide was "A boy with an advanced IQ struggles with puppy love." Aaarrrggghhh. I've always hated that term. People used to tell me how I was in puppy love and shit. It makes it sound like you don't anything about love, or why you love the person, when it's usually the one you want that has no idea. They'd rather date the macho, abusive jock, then the talented, smart, romantic guy (me). When you think about it, that's a stupid description of the movie. If anything, Lucas knew more about love then anybody in that movie because of his advanced IQ. Does anybody else notice how much Rudy ripped off certain parts of Lucas?

Guess what else!? Jeremy Piven is in Lucas!! I love Jeremy Piven. One of my favorite actors of all time, even though he dissapointed me on Conan O'Brien with his lack of enthusiasm, and seemingly fake hair. He looks like he lost some weight. Now he'll get all hollywood like Jon Favreau.

Another thing that bothered me..... the guide always lists two actors on the description screen to draw you to the movie. They usually use the two biggest names to draw you, even if one of the names was only in it for 5 minutes. But on this one, they listed Corey Haim, and Kerri Green. Of all the people they could have listed. What about Sheen? What about Ryder? What about friggin' PIVEN!!! I love you Piven!

in unrelated stuff: I love the song WHITER SHADE OF PALE, by Procol Harum! I always have, since I've known of it's existence. Clearly one of the finest songs ever. I don't even know what all the words are yet, or what it's all about. I've only discovered it in the last 3 years for some reason. Where was this song hiding? Or had I blocked it from my memory bank back when I didn't know a damn thing about music, or anything else, for that matter? I don't even know if it's a sad song, but the music and the melodies almost make me cry sometimes. It makes me think alot. I love songs that are irresistably thought-provoking. It sends chills up my spine. It almost always inspires me when I hear it. Sometimes I just sit down and daydream when it plays, lately, about me and Stephanie. But I do that with alot of songs. There's no great point to this.... I just love this song. It brings me so much enjoyment and thought process. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Or I hope there's another song you enjoy that much.
