this is a song about this guys house we used to go to. it was in a totally nice neighborhood and everything, but it was falling apart. not a familiar site for a house in our town. the houses aren't that old or anything. i don't know why his house was so fucked up, but it was. when you walked into his house the door would always be open...there may not have even been a door... and strange people would be sleeping on the living room floor on futons or just blankets on a hard wood floor. But then there was Adams room! Though it smelled not that great, and had beer bottles and food wrappers everywhere, it was the coolest room ever. He had a great cd collection, reminded me of mine. But the thing about his room that made it one of a kind, was that on all four walls there was writings and drawings, and signatures of all the people who had ever been in that room, and you'd be surprised how many people had been there. We drew some cheesy stuff like Slayer logos, and a portrait of G.G. Allin with one of his infamous quotes like "suck my ass, it smells". Adam was a great guy. I don't know how his house was so dysfunctional....I just remembered something i always forget. His dad was a professor at the community college i used to go to for a while. He was my anthropology teacher. Crazy. He was a pretty cool teacher, but very odd. And he always had a styrofoam coffee cup full of vodka in the classroom. It was a pretty laid back school. Super easy. I should've stuck with it. It was so simple. Anyway, this is a song about Adam and his house, mainly his room. You should've seen this wall. It was awesome. It was so rock and roll. I want to have a wall like that in my house some day, but i'll probably put some kind of cover on it that people can write on....just in case we ever want to move or something....alot of this song is inside jokes and obscure references, so forgive me if you have no idea what the hell i'm talking about.
