IF ANYONE OUT THERE IS WONDERING WHAT THE WHOLE "'COS" THING IS IN MY SONGS, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BILL COSBY. ACTUALLY, I USED TO WRITE "'CUZ", OR "'CAUSE" AS AN ABBREVIATION FOR "BECAUSE", LIKE MOST PEOPLE...THEN I START SEEING ALL THESE SCOTTISH AND ENGLISH BANDS WRITING IT AS "'COS", AND I LIKE THAT. SO I'VE STARTED DOING IT. IT'S FUN. THERE'S LIKE A SCOTTISH INVASION RIGHT NOW. LOTS OF BANDS FROM SCOTLAND. GOOD ONES TOO. MOGWAI, TRAVIS, COLDPLAY, IDLEWILD, ETC. ETC. ANYWHO, HERE'S ANOTHER TUNE I WROTE LAST NITE. (I KNOW IT'S CALLED A "RUBICKS CUBE", BUT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A JOKE DAMMIT!)

I'VE got to save some money...and sleep when I'm bored...and not go out just to go out no more. I don't have to kiss time anymore..but the time away from her is killing me. It's good to know I'll be there with her eventually. I have to do these things for us...So I can see her as soon as possible. And I don't mean in my dreams...It's not as bad as it seems. It's just I've thought about her so much...I need to know what she's like to touch. One day you and I will be in dreams together. Even when we're awake, we'll be floating in transparent clouds. Where we can see the elements that make it great....From anywhere on earth, or space, or anyplace. The shape of things to come is an odd one. Not sure if it's been discovered yet, or how many sides there are. (to the story) The colors and sides are three dimensional like Kubricks Cube. It's like Clockwork, the way I collided with you. The right time for the right job...and we're begging for overtime. Doesn't matter who brought the bacon, because now it's yours and mine. One time I thought you might dissappear like FBI evidence. Now I'm wondering what it looks like inside your residence. I feel like a regal alien, but I was never one for eloquence. Every day gets brighter, even when the sky is gray like elephants. Who cares about 5th place?...you and I are the potent elements. I feel alot more important now, less doubt about my relevance. I've run out of bad things to say, so I'll roll with the sentiments. The kind of sick I am involves love, and your body holds the medicine.
