2004-11-02 | FLUKE OF HAZZARD

I'm not completely anti-Bush, because I'm not against him as a person altogether, I just think he's a bad choice for President. I think he'll be a lot more fun to watch when he's not running the show. I can't wait for the motion picture "W". It's gonna be hilarious.

But having him as our president is no laughing matter. He's too stubborn. He's not level headed enough. He makes snap decisions and doesn't think about consequences. That can be dangerous, as we've already seen. I don't understand why people don't listen. It's so easy to find flaws in his character. Kerry is no angel either, but he hasn't made mistakes of Bush's magnitude, and I honestly believe he won't if he gets the big job.

I'm very surprised that people are worried about Kerry as a leader. I think he's very focused, caring and I think he's got great, logical, and practical ideas to help at least start to turn things around. I hope we give him the chance because I think he deserves it.

I don't want to give Bush a chance to dig us out of a hole that he created. That's a priveledge he hasn't earned. His actions have actually begged someone to come in and fix it.

No offense, George. I think you have some decent qualities, but I just can't watch you be president anymore. I will live with you if you are re-elected, but I'll be forced to wonder "what-if" every now and then. At least once a day I think.

I'm really looking forward to watching the election coverage tomorrow, even if the good ol' boys win again. If he wins it won't be so bad on some levels I guess. It will give us something to rock against for the next four years, and maybe mainstream music will improve a little bit. (speaking of music I beg you to read the entry before this, because I think it's pretty good. Thanks.) So if Bush does win, we can have some strife, and it will spark us creatively, and we'll all be edgier and cooler, and we can all pretend we're Red Sox fans until our own little 4 year "curse" is over.
