2002-12-04 | (LONG) MOULDY BEACHES

Eyes Adrift arrived in the mail today.

They are:

Curt Kirkwood of the heroin-destroyed Meat Puppets on guitar and vocals.

Krist Novoselic of the partly heroin-destroyed Nirvana on bass (and vocals on 3 (silly) songs)

and Bud Gaugh of the heroin-destroyed Sublime on drums.

It's a fine album.

The stuff that sounds like Meat Puppets is the best.

The progressive stuff is not as good, but it's a nice listen.

I went to Ralph's and bought Oreo Cookies, Carne Asada, Pigs in a Blanket, and diet A&W root beer. What a weird array of products...

As I was leaving I saw an ordinary looking girl (whatever that means) wearing a Sugar t-shirt for the "File Under Easy Listening" tour. That was pretty cool.

It's dumb for me to judge her. She just didn't look like a Bob Mould fan.

And I don't even know what a Bob Mould fan looks like.

People probably see me at concerts some times and think, "what is this geek doing here?", so who am I to judge?

Life is simple.

Life is good.

Life is simply good.
