2001-10-17 | EXPERIMENTAL JET SET TRASH AND NEW STAR

WARNING: THIS IS AN EXPERIMENT

(read first....explanation of experiment will be on bottom of page)

the milestone wouldn't seem complete without her there to celebrate it with me

and all the while she'd been hiding craziness

some people live with a low-grade anxiety tugging at their existence all day long

no two men think in precisely the same way

we think of time as linear or circular

and from what they say of this... you will be able to judge the truth of the rest

i was young and stupid and got carried away

fix, fix, fix because i was guilty.... i felt so horribly guilty

there are some amazing things that have happened that i'm so blessed with

but there are so many damaging things at the same time

we are waiting and watching out of the corners of our eyes

...did the right thing... we owe you nothing

they both smile.... but neither laughs

'i can't believe that's the same car'

i am anxious to give this valuable gift to you

i am so glad that you're being recognized again

'i am the leader of the 'nude beatles''

after ten or fifteen minutes you forget we are nude

we are not 'unplugged'

we use tattoos and facial creams and a painters drop cloth

here's what the critics have to say:

"a rambunctious blend of comedy and violence"

when he gets to the door... he hears music on the other side

...a filthy distrayed mess

the idles were still in high school

we never split the money, we put it in a cigar box

i logged alot of time on the freeways

i remember we'd all pile in a car and drive out there

if they didn't have the anger sometimes

they wouldn't have the beauty at other times

he was the only piece of reality

there was no threat of danger, ever

...i greatly fear that tomorrow at this time...

there will be no one able to give a reason worth having

my dissapointment was immense

with characteristic vigor and iconoclasm

strong women intrigue me

but when is strength really a weakness?

take the present moment and find something to laugh at

people who laugh last..... last

maybe if she were coldly ambitious

maybe if she were wickedly clever

maybe if she were a college graduate

she might be able to impress them

of course they liked her.... everyone did

but she would never be one of them

(okay, okay... it may not have made sense, but here was the experiment.... i took 11 books off the book shelf and just opened random pages and found the first line that caught my eye and wrote it down, and made a song out of it. was the experiment a success? who cares? it's at least semi-interesting. okay it sucks!)
