"FADING"

I love the smell of a brand new book. Refreshed me the last time I took time to look. I like the feel of freshly washed clothes. The heat of cleanliness rubbing up against my nose. I love the memory of happy days. The passion of life in it's high times always pays. I love the little gambles you take in love. When you win your heart soars with the doves.

But ever since our parting, sweetheart...All my senses have been depleted. Everything's gone since I had to depart. Everything good with the tide has receded. No power is as strong as the desire. And the regard I held for you inside my mind. The flame in my heart was a beautiful fire...But sadly, my respect and love for you is slowly fading with time.

I love the smell of brand new shoes. When you replace something old your life's temporarily new. With every step your life smells improved. You vow to yourself that this is truly a new you. Two-way conversation is a perfect thing. Your mind more enlightened with each subject they bring. Your heart is warmed when someone knows...And understands truly how it really goes.

Everything was great when you were around. But now I don't recognize any pleasant sounds. All I remember is the sound of your breath. Sometimes it feels like I'm dying a slow death.
